£38,000 - £45,000. Vehicle. Phone and Laptop
Monday to Friday. Call out / OT one week in three.
This is a service-led role covering fire alarm systems, smoke ventilation (AOV), emergency lighting. Working independently diagnosing faults correctly, and carrying out remedial works to a high standard across commercial and residential sites. 3 years + experience in the fire safety industry is preferred, with proven background in service, maintenance, fault-finding, and remedial works,
Suit a candidate with strong working knowledge of BS 5839-1, BS 5266-1, and BS 5306, and experience with major manufacturers such as Kentec, Advanced, Morley, and C-TEC, and Wireless fire alarm systems experience essential (EMS, Hyfire, EDA, Apollo)
Key Responsibilities
Fire Alarm Systems
• Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs
• Accurately diagnose faults and implement permanent corrective solutions
• Carry out remedial works including device replacement, minor system modifications, and repairs
• Complete clear, professional digital reports
• Participate in a shared on-call rota
Smoke Ventilation (AOV) , Emergency Lighting responsibilities too. Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers desired though training can be provided.
