This is a full-time, customer-facing project management role focused on delivering complex fire and life safety projects successfully from award through completion.
You will oversee multiple projects, balancing schedules, budgets, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
The role combines technical project leadership with team coordination, risk management, and commercial oversight.
You’ll work closely with customers, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently.
Your ability to anticipate risks, resolve challenges, and communicate clearly will directly influence project outcomes and customer relationships.

The primary work location is Centennial, Colorado, with compensation ranging from $88,580 to $137,299 annually.
Accountabilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple large and complex projects from award through completion, including overall site management and project execution.
- Develop project installation plans, schedules, procedures, subcontracts, change proposals, and pay applications, ensuring work remains aligned with contractual requirements.
- Establish project milestones, monitor costs, and use financial systems to compare actual performance against estimated job costs.
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to control cost deviations, schedule delays, and operational challenges.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, supplies, and services to support timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Manage project scope, contract terms, customer requirements, delivery commitments, cost controls, and quality standards.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding schedules, changes, project activities, and performance while continuously working to improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and facilitate project teams, fostering collaboration and effective problem-solving.
- Apply technical knowledge and develop improved approaches to installation methods when appropriate.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical, operational, and project-related issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all work complies with applicable safety and quality expectations.
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience, including a minimum of 3 years of project supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated project management experience in a technical environment, preferably involving electronic security systems.
- Experience in electronic, fire alarm and life safety, and/or building automation industries is preferred.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is desirable, while relevant industry-specific certifications and/or licenses are required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation capabilities.
- Advanced financial analysis and cost-control skills, with the ability to manage budgets and evaluate project performance.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong adaptability and initiative, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with solid programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Basic understanding of IT networking principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and customer expectations.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
