Fire And Safety Officer

We are looking for a Fire Warden to join our team and be part of our projects in Riyadh.

Job purpose

Support fire prevention and emergency preparedness by inspecting assigned areas, controlling fire risks, and leading safe evacuation during alarms or incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect fire points, extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting, escape routes, muster points, signage, and access for emergency vehicles.
• Identify fire loads, ignition sources, blocked exits, poor housekeeping, and unsafe storage of flammable materials.
• Support hot-work control and confirm that fire watches and firefighting equipment are provided where required.
• Maintain current area occupancy information and assist in preparing evacuation plans and warden coverage maps.
• Lead orderly evacuation, sweep assigned zones where safe, guide personnel to muster points, and report status to incident command.
• Participate in drills, document performance, and follow up corrective actions.
• Provide fire-awareness briefings and assist with induction and toolbox-talk programs.
• Never undertake firefighting beyond the level of training or where personal safety may be compromised.

Skills

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Secondary education or technical diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction, facilities, security, or emergency-response experience.
• Recognized Fire Warden or Fire Marshal certificate and practical extinguisher training; first-aid training preferred.
• Physically capable of site inspections and emergency duties.
