Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter
Tri-City Fire Protection is currently seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter in Des Moines, IA.
Main duties:
- Lead assigned projects and apprentice team members to ensure that all deadlines are met with regard to installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for customers.
- Layout and install fire protection systems
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Modify current sprinkler systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sprinkler Fitter
- Prior experience managing construction projects
- Excellent communication skills verbal, and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Track record of success completing projects on schedule
- Preferred: Foreman/Journeyman Level - through National local 669
- Lifting 50+ lbs.
- Work on ladders and elevated surfaces
- Work in small spaces
- Work in a fast-paced, construction environment
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to travel
