Fire Safety Specialist

What we achieve together

• You will act as the primary fire safety expert for Vaillant Group's Slovakian operations in Trenčín, Skalica and Senica, advising plant management and local fire safety officers on strategic and operational fire safety matters.
• You will collaborate closely with the Fire Safety Team at Vaillant Group Headquarters in Germany to implement and continuously develop Group-wide fire safety standards, best practices and strategic initiatives.
• You will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Fire Safety Management System across Slovakian locations, including fire safety documentation, standards, procedures and operating instructions.
• You will provide functional leadership and technical guidance to local fire safety officers and service providers for fire protection systems, with a particular focus on automatic sprinkler systems and associated water supplies.
• You will serve as the fire safety expert for construction and facility projects, supporting fire protection planning, and advising project teams on fire safety measures and associated investment planning.
• You will support audits and certification activities, including inspections by property insurers, LRQA and other external organizations and coordinate the implementation of resulting improvement measures and occasionally provide fire safety support to other Vaillant Group locations across Europe and China, including insurer audits, fire risk assessments, fire protection projects and group-wide fire safety initiatives.

What makes us successful together

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Security & Emergency Management, Civil Engineering with a focus on fire safety, or a comparable technical discipline.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in fire protection, industrial fire safety, property risk engineering, fire protection consulting or a comparable field.
• You have a solid understanding of industrial sprinkler systems, as well as practical experience applying relevant standards and guidelines, particularly VdS CEA 4001 and FM Data Sheets.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively advise, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• You work effectively both independently and in an international matrix organization, building strong partnerships across functions, locations and management levels.
• You are fluent in Slovak and English and willing to travel regularly within Slovakia and occasionally within Europe or China.

What you can count on

• The gross monthly salary for this position ranges is from 2600 € based on a 40-hour workweek. The specific gross mothly salary depends on your job-related qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you will receive annual bonus equivalent to 2 months salaries based on individual target achievement.
