In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Foremen, and Coordinators to support fire protection projects from start to finish. You’ll gain exposure to planning, field operations, procurement, financial tracking, and closeout—building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

Job Summary:

This position supports the planning and execution of fire protection projects under the guidance of experienced project and field leaders. The Assistant Project Manager helps ensure assigned projects stay organized, documented, and moving forward by assisting with coordination, communication, procurement, cost tracking, and closeout activities. This role is designed to build the technical, operational, and administrative skills needed for long-term success in project management.

Job Responsibilities:

Support Project Managers with day-to-day planning, coordination, and documentation.
Ensure field teams have current drawings, RFIs, submittals, and schedules.
Assist with permits, vendor pricing, material deliveries, and fabrication releases.
Help track costs, labor, change orders, and project documentation.
Participate in project meetings, coordination efforts, and closeout activities.

Job Requirements:

0–2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related environment.
Prior fire sprinkler experience is a plus.
Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s information systems applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Interest in construction, mechanical systems, or fire protection.
