What You’ll Do

This position is based in Richland Hills, TX, and is not a remote role. Specifically, you’ll:

  • Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial projects

  • Create layouts, device placement drawings, and riser diagrams

  • Perform calculations and ensure code compliance

  • Review plans, specs, and bid documents

  • Collaborate with PMs, estimators, and field teams

  • Support preconstruction and takeoffs when needed

  • Revise drawings based on field and AHJ feedback

  • Deliver accurate, buildable system designs

What You Need

  • Relatable fire sprinkler experience

  • NICET Level II or III preferred (Candidates currently pursuing NICET Level II certification are also encouraged to apply)

  • Experience using AutoCAD, SprinkCAD, AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or other similar industry software

  • Strong knowledge of fire and life safety codes

  • Experience with commercial system design

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Experience supporting estimating or preconstruction is a plus
