Role Summary
Provide front-line firefighting, rescue, and first-response medical support at helipad sites and associated facilities. The role supports safe and compliant ARFF operations in line with GCAA/ICAO standards and Jaheziya IMS (ISO 9001/14001/45001).

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to aviation and helipad emergencies under Incident Command.

  • Support firefighting operations including hose deployment, extinguishers, rescue tools, and foam/agent use.

  • Assist with perimeter control, hazard isolation, casualty extrication, and scene safety.

  • Provide EMT-B level first-response care, triage, and patient handover to EMS.

  • Operate light vehicles safely for logistics, patrol duties, and operational tasking.

  • Conduct daily checks of PPE/BA, equipment, medical kits, and foam/agent stocks.

  • Maintain station logs, checklists, training records, and incident documentation to audit-ready standards.

  • Participate in drills, refresher training, and after-action reviews.

Requirements

  • 2+ years operational firefighting experience with ARFF/helipad exposure.

  • Competent in BA discipline, aviation firefighting tactics, and teamwork in high-risk environments.

Qualifications (international or equivalent where applicable)

  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter II (or equivalent) – required

  • ICAO/GCAA ARFF qualification/module (or equivalent) – required

  • First Responder / EMT-B (or equivalent) – required/preferred

  • HAZMAT Ops NFPA 1072/470 (or equivalent) – required

  • Valid UAE light vehicle driving licence (manual) – required

Additional
Professional English required; Arabic an advantage. UAE security clearance and medical fitness for BA/heat-stress environments required.
