Fireplace Service & Installation Technician

Full-Time | Work Location: In person | $23.50-$28.50/hour DOE

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Fireplace Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with tools, solving problems, and providing great service to customers.

What You'll Do

• Install gas, wood, and pellet fireplaces and stoves according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Diagnose, service, and repair fireplaces and stoves.
• Perform maintenance and service work on related products, including hot tubs and swimming pools, as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and contractors about service work, repairs, and product care.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and parts used.
• Keep job sites, work areas, and company vehicles clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Travel to customer locations and other company/job sites as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Preferred: HVAC certification or electrical experience.
• Previous experience with fireplace, stove, HVAC, electrical, pool, hot tub, or related service work is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Willingness to learn new products, systems, and installation/service techniques.
