Firmware Developer

Job Title: Embedded Firmware Developer (ARM); Location: Pune; Experience: 5+ Years.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Developer with strong experience in ARM-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for embedded systems. Experience in the medical devices domain will be an added advantage.

• Design and develop embedded firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers and processors
• Work on low-level programming including device drivers, board support packages (BSP), and hardware abstraction layers
• Collaborate with hardware teams to bring up new boards and debug hardware-software issues
• Optimize system performance, memory usage, and power consumption
• Develop and maintain documentation for firmware design and architecture
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality processes

• ARM architecture
• Embedded systems
• C/C++
• RTOS (such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar)
• SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB
• JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Git

• Experience in medical devices domain
• IEC 62304
• Experience with safety-critical systems and compliance processes
• Familiarity with embedded Linux is a plus

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related field
