THE ROLE:

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated APU/DGPU post-silicon power management firmware engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will leverage strong firmware/embedded development expertise to enable, validate, and debug power management features on silicon.

In this role, you will take ownership of power feature enablement and post-silicon issue debug, working closely with multi-functional teams across firmware, hardware, validation, and system/software to drive issues to closure and deliver high-quality power management firmware.

THE PERSON:

You're a highly motivated team player with strong firmware development background, solid debugging methodology, problem solving capability and excellent communication skills. You can prioritize effectively, work independently, and collaborate across teams to resolve complex post-silicon power/performance firmware issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain power management firmware to support post-silicon bring-up, feature enablement, and production readiness for APU/DGPU platforms.
• Lead and execute feature enablement and validation on silicon (e.g., power states, DVFS, limits/throttling, telemetry) and deliver qualified firmware to validation team.
• Collaborate with global hardware, architecture, validation, and software teams to
• Build and maintain Python-based scripts for feature validation and debug efficiency improvements
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including feature behavior, limitations, debug findings, root-cause summaries, and patch/solution proposals; communicate status and risks effectively
• Contribute to a team culture that promotes knowledge sharing, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong firmware/embedded development experience in C (must-have).

• Scripting skills with Python (must-have) for firmware validation and debug.
• Proficient with revision control tool (GIT) (must-have).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken with global cross-functional teams) (must-have).
• Good balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise(must-have).
• Great teammate with excellent collaborative skills(must-have).
• In-depth knowledge of RTOS.(Plus)
• Solid understanding of power/clock/performance management concepts (DVFS, power states, throttling/limits, telemetry, etc.)(Plus)

• Experience with low-level debugging tools and lab bring-up (register dumps, traces, oscilloscopes/logic analyzer exposure is a plus)

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
