First Class Specialist
How you help our First Class customers
Within First Class, you and your colleagues ensure an exclusive customer experience. You will manage your own portfolio of clients and build strong relationships with administrative teams. You stay informed about what is happening, get to know their organization better over time, and ensure that customers can easily find their way within AFAS.
Your responsibilities include:
- Proactively advising customers on the successful implementation of AFAS Profit.
- Holding regular meetings with customers regarding tickets, product development requests, releases, projects, and key developments.
- Connecting customers with the right colleagues within AFAS, such as support, consultancy, or product development.
- Advising on configuration issues, even those outside your own area of expertise.
- Visiting customers on-site to better understand their processes and practical operations.
- Contributing ideas for events such as Succestival, AFAS Open, and other customer gatherings.
- Adequately handling incidents during emergency shifts, together with colleagues where necessary.
You work primarily by appointment. This gives you the space to prepare for conversations thoroughly, look ahead, and help customers not only with today's questions but also with what is needed for tomorrow.
How you grow in your role
You are not starting from scratch. You bring at least one year of experience with AFAS software, for example as a key user, administrator, consultant, or support employee. You use that foundation to grow quickly in customer advice, relationship management, and in-depth knowledge.
From the start, you will have your own client portfolio, but you are not on your own. You learn from experienced First Class colleagues, ask questions, shadow others, and discover step-by-step how to best guide customers.
You will develop into a specialist within the industry for which you are responsible. You learn which processes, challenges, and questions are common there. This allows you to advise customers more precisely and helps colleagues within Support to increase their knowledge about your industry.
And because First Class continues to develop, you also help build the team itself. What can be smarter? What can be better? How can we make our service even stronger? Your ideas are welcome.
What makes First Class so special?
First Class is about responsibility, trust, decisiveness, and fun. We want to make a difference for customers who work intensively with our software. Not by shouting louder, but by listening better, advising more sharply, and looking beyond a single ticket.
You immerse customers in the warm First Class experience: attention, service, and advice. Everything needed to move forward together.
You will join a close-knit team where collaboration is important. You learn a lot from each other, challenge one another, and are given the space to bring your own way of working. You have a lot of freedom to manage your own schedule and plan appointments smartly. With that freedom comes responsibility, and that suits you.
