Overview
You will be the inaugural DevOps expert, shaping the core infra for an AI accelerator. You’ll own cloud and on-prem architectures, implement automation, and set security policies as the sole DevOps trailblazer. Collaborating with hardware and software engineers, you’ll establish best practices and scalable systems from a greenfield starting point. This role offers high impact in a fast-moving environment with minimal red tape. You’ll join a bold team aiming to redefine AI acceleration in London.
Responsibilities- Own cloud and on-prem infrastructure and drive end-to-end platform decisions
- Set up automation and security hardening across environments
- Implement centralized device management and governance
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices and playbooks for a growing company
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to scale the AI accelerator
- Lead infrastructure design in a greenfield environment
- Reduce friction by building scalable, secure, and observable systems
- Proven experience with Kubernetes
- Proven experience with Terraform
- Strong automation and scripting capabilities
- Security hardening expertise
- Experience managing both cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Ability to operate as the sole DevOps owner in a fast-growing startup
