First Line Manager
Position: First Line Manager
Location: Rugby
Grade: RCS. N
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Evening Shift (14:00-22:00)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
- To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance for your area / shift
- Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Management of stock accuracy across the site with a small team of warehouse colleagues
- Support and contribute towards briefing activities such as performance management appraisals, comms zone briefs and informal / formal conversations
- Ensure shift is managed in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures
- Participate on shift handover with your colleague of previous shift understanding the current status and priorities for your working day
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous Team Management experience within a First Line Manager/Team Manager role, is essential
- Materials and stock control and planning background within an Automotive industry would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills
- Good balance of Results and respect approach
- Able to deliver results under stress and within a pressured environment
- Strong attention to detail
