Fit out QA/QC
Summary
On-site QA/QC inspector for commercial interior fit-out projects, verifying workmanship against drawings and specs and documenting defects for rectification.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site quality inspections for commercial shops and interior fit-out works.
Perform acceptance checks according to approved drawings, material samples, construction specifications, and client requirements.
Inspect workmanship for carpentry, ceilings, flooring, painting, glass, metal, and MEP works.
Supervise material delivery, installation processes, and finished product protection.
Identify quality issues, issue rectification requests, and follow up until closure.
Prepare inspection records, site photos, defect lists, and quality reports.
Coordinate inspections and acceptance with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients.
Participate in completion inspections, handover, and rectification during the defects liability period.
Ensure works comply with company quality standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
Assist in establishing and implementing project quality inspection procedures.
Requirements:
Knowledge in interior fit-out, construction, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of on-site quality inspection experience in fit-out projects.
Familiar with construction methods for commercial shops, offices, or hotels.
Ability to read construction drawings, detail drawings, and material specifications.
Strong attention to detail, quality awareness, and sense of responsibility.
Able to independently carry out site inspections, documentation, and rectification follow-up.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD skills are an advantage.
Prior experience in Singapore fit-out projects is preferred.
Possession of relevant construction, quality, or safety certifications is an advantage.
