FITNESS ATTENDANT
Summary
Oversee gym operations, assist members with fitness programs, maintain equipment and cleanliness, and provide customer service at a YMCA facility.

What do Fitness Attendants do?
- Implement and monitor the general program orientations and trainings, which cater to members’ health and fitness goals
- Utilize tools and information for the purpose of increasing members’ knowledge of fitness, as well as other programs provided through the YMCA
- Ensure phones are answered messages communicated; members and customers are handled appropriately. Ensure administrative support is available for other duties that may arise
- Responsible for the cleanliness of fitness areas and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster connections with members
- Ensure building, grounds, and equipment are in working order. Report any concerns
