Are you an accounting professional who thrives on detail and complex problem-solving? In this role, you won’t just be crunching numbers—you will be tracking the financial lifecycle of the infrastructure that keeps Europe connected.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Fixed Assets Manager, you will be the go-to expert for tracking our capital projects, complex telecom leases, and network assets. If you have a strong command of US GAAP and/or IFRS, and love navigating the nuances of ASC 842/ IFRS 16 or software capitalization, we want you on our team.

Scope:

  • Drive the Asset Lifecycle: Oversee the accounting for multi-million-euro fiber network build-outs, tracking Construction in Progress (CIP), and managing Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreements.
  • Master the Leases: Take ownership of our lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16), ensuring all Right-of-Use assets and liabilities are precisely recorded.
  • Innovate & Improve: Lead the accounting for internal-use software (ASC 350-40) and continuously identify ways to streamline our month-end close and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate Globally: Partner with international finance teams and support our external audit cycles.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of robust accounting experience, ideally in a multinational, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep expertise in fixed assets, capital expenditure, and lease accounting standards.
  • A proactive mindset, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to explain complex accounting treatments to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bonus points: Experience in the telecommunications industry or handling telecom-specific contracts.
