Role purpose
Take responsibility for multiple and complex data and solutions projects.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
- Responsible for project management of total communication projects.
- Collect all required documents from customer side.
- Manage multiple vendors.
- Manage all project documentation.
- Set project plans to customers, update on the progress, report, and order needed hardware for customer open projects.
- Conduct customer visits during the project life cycle from kickoff meeting with the customer till project closure and be the main customer’s focal point during the project life cycle.
- Collect customer acceptance.
- Coordinate and follow up on project acceptances with service assurance.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Excellent documentation experience.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-oriented and innovative approach to service design and delivery, and result oriented.
- Demonstrate good organisational and project management skills and have a sense of vision, grasp complex concepts, and think strategically.
- Exceptional time management abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact effectively using good interpersonal skills.
Must have technical and professional skills
- BA in communications, networks, and computer science.
- PMP certificate is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience, preferably in telecom or infrastructure projects.
- Relevant professional or supervisory qualification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people – external individuals, organizations, and agencies.
- Experience planning for and successfully addressing quality assurance issues.
- Excellent IT skills – word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Project, email, and web.
- Strong time management skills and motivation – ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Experience working with budgets and financial systems.
- Ability to work and contribute effectively to a team.
- Commitment to own personal professional development.
- Understanding of revenue reporting needs and effective data and information management issues.
