Birmingham Vauxhall and Changan
Position: Permanent, Part Time - Monday to Friday 10:00am- 15:00pm (25 hours)
Salary: £17,500 per annum
We are looking for an organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to join our busy motor trade operation. This is a varied role combining administration, vehicle progression, fleet management and site coordination duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are accurately tracked, prepared and delivered to customers on time.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves moving vehicles around site and supporting the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and locate vehicles across site, ensuring accurate vehicle records at all times.
- Monitor vehicle progress from arrival through to customer delivery.
- Produce and maintain accurate reports covering vehicle deliveries, registrations and road tax status.
- Tax vehicles and ensure all documentation is completed correctly and on time.
- Move vehicles safely around site as required.
- Coordinate vehicle preparation activities including PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), valeting and any additional work required before handover.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure vehicles are retail-ready within agreed timescales.
- Update internal systems with accurate vehicle status information.
- Support the wider fleet and administration team with day-to-day operational tasks.
About You
- Previous experience within the motor trade, vehicle logistics, fleet administration or vehicle progression is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working with administrative systems and reporting tools.
- Able to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
