Description
Fleet incharge responsibilities
1. Daily fleet operations
- Assign transport orders to drivers based on location, load type, and working hours.
- Optimize routes and minimize empty kilometers using Wialon/Geotab fleet platforms.
- Live-track all trucks and resolve urgent issues: breakdowns, checkpoints, and delays.
- Ensure driver compliance with TGA working/rest hour regulations.
2. Cost control & efficiency monitoring
- Monitor daily diesel consumption per truck via FLS sensor and issue deviation reports.
- Analyze causes of high fuel consumption and coach underperforming drivers.
- Schedule preventive maintenance for each truck based on mileage to avoid breakdowns.
- Track tire life, oil, and filters to reduce unplanned maintenance costs.
3. Driver management
- Prepare shift rosters and leave schedules for drivers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Evaluate driver performance monthly by KPI: fuel efficiency, on-time delivery, violations, and accidents.
- Train new drivers on tracking systems, company policy, and eco-driving techniques.
- Investigate accidents/traffic violations and submit recommendations to management.
4. Compliance & documentation
- Verify validity of operating cards, MVPI, insurance, and driver licenses.
- Issue transport documents via Naql platform and monitor cargo manifests via Bayan.
- Archive diesel, maintenance, and weighbridge invoices and reconcile with system reports.
- Submit weekly reports to senior management: costs, revenue, issues, and completion rates.
