Job Summary
We are looking for a Fleet Manager with hands-on experience in managing commercial vehicles and transport operations. The candidate should have practical knowledge of LMV/HMV vehicles, GPS/GPRS tracking systems, driver coordination, and fleet utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet operations and vehicle deployment.
- Monitor LMV/HMV vehicles using GPS/GPRS tracking systems.
- Coordinate drivers, vehicle schedules, routes, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, breakdowns, and documentation.
- Track fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and operating costs.
- Maintain fleet reports, vehicle records, and operational MIS.
- Coordinate with warehouse, store operations, and distribution teams.
Candidate Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant fleet management or transport operations experience.
- Hands-on experience with LMV/HMV vehicles and GPS/GPRS tracking.
- Experience in retail, supermarket/hypermarket operations, FMCG distribution, or retail logistics preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to Central Africa.
