Fleet Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee our transportation fleet operations and ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery performance. If you have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for logistics, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet operations including vehicle allocation, routing, and scheduling
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, maintenance, and operating costs
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
- Supervise drivers and transport staff, including attendance, performance, and training
- Handle incident reporting, vehicle inspections, and insurance coordination
- Optimize fleet utilization and improve operational efficiency
- Work closely with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, expenses, and compliance documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field
- Minimum [3–5] years of experience in fleet or transport management
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and transportation regulations
- Experience managing drivers and large vehicle fleets
- Good problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or distribution industries
- Knowledge of GPS tracking and fleet monitoring systems
- Valid driving license
