Fleet repair shop near Davie looking for a skilled mechanic who holds a CDL. Most of our work is light and medium duty — delivery vans and box trucks — plus some heavy duty trucks. Plenty of work, every day. Our shop is in Fort Lauderdale, a short drive from Davie.
WHAT YOU NEED
- At least 3 years of experience as a fleet, auto, or diesel mechanic
- Active CDL, Class A or B (required)
- Solid diagnostician — you track down the real problem
- Experience on light and medium duty vehicles; heavy duty experience is a bonus
- Your own hand tools
- ASE certified is a plus
- English or Spanish speakers welcome
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
- Electrical and diagnostic work — warning lights, no-starts, wiring issues
- Engine and drivetrain repairs on both gas and diesel
- Brake, suspension, and steering jobs
- A/C diagnosis and repair — leaks, compressors, evac and recharge
- Preventive maintenance (PM) on vans, box trucks, and other commercial fleet vehicles
- Heavy duty truck repairs from time to time
