Fleet Ops Technician
A dual-function role combining fleet and equipment maintenance with warehouse operations — keeping company vehicles, forklifts, and equipment safe and reliable, while supporting day-to-day packing, moving product, and logistics between warehouse locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair company vehicles, forklifts, and warehouse equipment; keep accurate maintenance records.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and escalate to outside vendors when needed.
- Pack orders, move product between warehouse locations, and operate forklifts to load/unload stock.
- Drive company vehicles to transport stock and equipment between sites.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse and accurate inventory.
- Support other departments and general operations as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience as a mechanic/technician; certified trade qualification servicing cars, vans, trucks, forklifts, and power equipment.
- Valid Group 4 driver's license.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine mechanics; fleet maintenance software experience a plus.
- At least 1 year in a warehouse/logistics environment.
- Able to lift/move up to 50lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
- Welding/fabrication skills a plus. Flexible schedule, including weekends, required.
