Fleet Sales Executive
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Fleet Sales
Executive to drive the growth of fleet and corporate vehicle sales. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities,
building relationships with corporate clients, government entities, rental
companies, and large-scale buyers, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle for
fleet vehicle purchases.
- This position requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, excellent
negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of vehicle product lines, pricing
strategies, and after-sales service offerings.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Fleet Sales & Business Development
- Identify and engage new fleet clients including corporations, leasing
companies, transportation firms, and government organizations.
- Develop customized fleet proposals based on client requirements,
including volume discounts, financing options, and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with procurement and fleet management
decision-makers to secure repeat business.
Sales Process Management
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and vehicle demonstrations
tailored to business customers.
- Prepare detailed quotations, fleet tender submissions, and vehicle
specification documents.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and service contracts in line
with company guidelines.
Account Management
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and actively manage key accounts
through consistent follow-ups and relationship-building activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments (finance, logistics, PDI,
after-sales) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor post-delivery service quality, support maintenance scheduling,
and handle any escalations professionally.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate sales records, client data, and interaction logs in
the CRM system.
- Prepare and present periodic sales forecasts, activity reports, and
market intelligence to management.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements comply with company policy and
relevant regulations.
Market Awareness
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing
structures in the fleet vehicle segment.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of fleet marketing campaigns,
product launches, and exhibitions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
(preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet or B2B automotive sales.
- Strong knowledge of fleet procurement processes, leasing models, and
commercial vehicle usage.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value
deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM
software.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel for
client visits and business development.
