Fleet Services Manager

At Utz Brands, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager, Fleet Services to join our team in Hanover, PA. In this role, you’ll lead all aspects of fleet maintenance and repair operations, ensuring our fleet remains reliable, safe, and cost-effective while supporting a large-scale, multi-site operation.

You’ll oversee a dedicated team, drive preventative maintenance strategies, and partner with leadership to optimize performance and control costs. This role is ideal for someone who can operate independently, lead a team effectively, and bring a data-driven approach to improving fleet operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead fleet maintenance strategies, including preventative maintenance programs and repair standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the Fleet Services team to ensure strong performance and accountability
  • Manage maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
  • Review and approve estimates, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts
  • Partner with leadership on capital planning, maintenance spend, and long-term fleet strategy
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, permits, inspections, and safety standards
  • Establish and maintain KPIs, SOPs, and performance standards for fleet operations
  • Source and manage third-party vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services
  • Support company growth initiatives, including acquisitions, new builds, and asset transitions
  • Prepare fleet assets for emergencies and coordinate response efforts as needed
  • Oversee accident tracking, insurance coordination, and compliance monitoring
  • Maintain and distribute fleet performance and maintenance reports to stakeholders
  • Provide support for urgent issues, including occasional after-hours calls and on-call situations
