Fleet Software Engineer - Mobile Robotics

Responsibilities

• Design software services for robot assignment, task dispatch and mission execution.
• Develop scheduling and robot-selection algorithms for changing operational priorities.
• Build traffic-management, resource-locking and deadlock-prevention capabilities.
• Implement charging coordination and robot-availability management.
• Integrate fleet services with warehouse systems and third-party robot platforms.
• Develop reliable APIs and messaging interfaces for distributed system communication.
• Build monitoring, state-management and diagnostic capabilities.
• Participate in simulation, system testing, commissioning, deployment and performance optimisation.

Requirements

• Required: Strong backend software engineering experience using Python, C++, Java, Go or comparable technologies.
• Required: Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, networking and object-oriented design.
• Required: Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, TCP/IP and asynchronous messaging behaviour.
• Required: Experience in fleet management, robotics, warehouse automation or distributed software systems.
