Fleet Technician
The Fleet Technician supports fleet operations by performing proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and preventive maintenance programs. This role ensures the safety, reliability, and cost-effective operation of all fleet equipment in accordance with the direction of the Regional Fleet Manager.
The tasks and responsibilities required of the Fleet Technician are outlined below:

Inspect, maintain, and repair yard trucks, reefer trailers, and company vehicles, including but not limited to brakes, front-end components, engines, and related electrical systems.

Perform preventive maintenance on all vehicles, including greasing, oil changes, filters, hoses, belts, lights, and electrical systems.

Organize and track inventory of parts required for preventive maintenance and repairs.

Monitor, review, and track tire conditions and issues on all trucks and trailers.

Ensure drivers properly maintain and keep equipment clean.

Respond to driver inquiries regarding vehicle and equipment concerns promptly and professionally.

Maintain fueling systems and ensure adequate amount of fuel and DEF onsite.

Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe.

Assist with maintaining the database of truck and trailer issues.

Document and report damages, repairs, and maintenance schedules to management regularly.

Provide support to other departments as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
