Compensation: $21.97–$23.75 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, supervision, encouragement, and support to children with complex special needs
- Work throughout the Children's Program based on staffing and program needs
- Support students with daily living skills, personal care, meals, recreation, and other activities
- Help create a structured, safe, and positive environment for students
- Implement individualized support and behavior plans under the direction of program leadership
- Encourage students to develop independence, social skills, and community-based skills
- Communicate important student information, observations, and concerns with team members and supervisors
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and incident reports
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
- Respond appropriately and compassionately to behavioral or crisis situations
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all Latham Centers policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work throughout the Children's Program based on staffing needs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support children with disabilities
- Ability to safely intervene during extreme behavioral situations
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- One year of experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
