Floater / General Labor Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Floater / General Labor Associate to support daily warehouse and production operations. This position involves sorting circuit boards, dismantling electronics, manually unloading trucks, palletizing, packaging, and performing various general labor duties as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to assist in different areas of the operation based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sort circuit boards and electronic components according to established procedures.
• Dismantle electronic equipment and devices using appropriate tools and safety procedures.
• Manually unload trucks and move materials to designated work areas.
• Perform general labor tasks to support warehouse, production, and recycling operations.
• Palletize products and materials securely for storage or shipment.
• Package, label, and prepare products and materials for shipping or further processing.
• Sort, organize, and stage materials in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies and proper material-handling procedures.
• Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or production work is preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Commitment to following workplace safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sorting electronic components or handling electronic equipment.
• Previous experience with packaging, palletizing, shipping, or receiving.
• Familiarity with warehouse or production environments.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist in multiple areas as needed.

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse, manufacturing, or electronics processing environment. Duties may include standing, walking, bending, repetitive movements, manual material handling, and working with tools to dismantle electronic equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures must be followed.

Rate of Pay: $16.00-$18.00/hr
