Floating Food Service Worker – Corporate Dining (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)
Location: Lebanon, NH
Schedule: Substitute / As-Needed | Day Shift | No Nights, Weekends, or Major Holidays
About the Role
Do you enjoy providing friendly food service and helping wherever needed? Café Services is looking for a Floating Food Service Worker to join our Corporate Dining team.
In this role, you’ll provide flexible support across café operations based on daily business needs. This position will include assisting with food service, prep, stocking, cleanup, and other café responsibilities as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with customers, and being part of a supportive team — with great daytime hours and no nights, weekends, or major holidays!
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Accurately process customer transactions
- Assist with daily meal prep, service, and cleanup
- Stock and organize inventory, supplies, beverages, and service areas
- Assist with café setup and breakdown
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness
- Support chefs and other team members with food preparation and service as needed
- Float between different café responsibilities to provide coverage based on operational needs
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and team members

- Previous food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience is helpful
- Comfort working in different areas of the café based on business needs
- Reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn through training
- Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and handle equipment for most of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Work in typical kitchen conditions, including heat, cold, cleaning agents, and food allergens
