Floor Manager
Job Summary
As Floor Manager at Bunga Telang Restaurant, you will lead front-of-house operations across Orchard Central and Buona Vista locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team development, and operational excellence to drive restaurant success. You must be willing to rotate between both locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front-of-house operations including floor management, table allocation, and coordinating service to optimize guest flow and satisfaction
- Lead, train, supervise, and mentor servers, hosts, and support staff to maintain high performance and service standards
- Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service by monitoring guest engagement and addressing feedback promptly and professionally
- Enforce adherence to restaurant standards, SOPs, policies, and procedures to maintain service quality
- Resolve guest complaints efficiently to ensure positive dining experiences and customer retention
- Manage reservations and walk-ins to ensure smooth service flow during operating hours
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards aligned with local regulations and restaurant policies
- Assist in staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management to build a capable and motivated team
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor front-of-house inventory and supplies, reporting shortages or operational issues to management promptly
- Drive revenue growth through effective upselling, table management, and operational efficiency improvements
- Support promotional activities, special events, and menu initiatives to enhance guest engagement and sales
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure consistency with restaurant expectations
- Assist with sales, labor, and operational reporting, and contribute to cost-control initiatives to optimize profitability
- Represent the restaurant professionally, upholding brand values and standards at all times
- Adapt to operational needs by rotating between Orchard Central and Buona Vista locations as required
