Floor Manager
• Supervise
front-of-house staff during weddings and events
• Coordinate
event timelines and communicate schedules to all teams
• Act
as the on-site point of contact for clients, planners, and vendors on the day
of the event
• Resolve
guest issues and service challenges promptly and professionally
• Oversee
room setup, breakdown, and presentation standards
• Manage
staff scheduling, briefings, and performance during shifts
• Ensure
compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements on the floor
• Liaise
with kitchen, bar, and maintenance teams to keep events running smoothly
• Conduct
post-event debriefs and report issues or improvement opportunities
Requirements
• 3+
years of experience in hospitality or event operations, with supervisory
experience
• Strong
leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent
problem-solving skills under pressure
• Strong
communication and customer service skills
• Ability
to work evenings, weekends, and long event days
• Experience
with event run-of-show/timeline management
• First
aid/health & safety certification a plus
