We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily front-of-house operations of our coffee house or one of our restaurant brands. This role is responsible for leading the service team, ensuring smooth shift operations, delivering excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high operational standards.

KEY FOCUS:

Floor Operations & Shift Leadership

• Lead and coordinate daily floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Manage staff deployment, table allocation, and customer flow during peak periods.
• Conduct opening, shift change, and closing procedures according to company SOPs.
• Ensure the coffee house remains operationally ready throughout the day.
• Act as the shift leader in the absence of the Store Manager.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

• Welcome and engage customers, creating a warm and memorable dining experience.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
• Monitor queue management and waiting times to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Build rapport with regular customers and promote a welcoming community atmosphere.
• Encourage customer feedback and positive online reviews.

Team Leadership & Staff Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate the service team to deliver consistent service excellence.
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and communicate operational priorities.
• Train new team members on service standards, product knowledge, and company SOPs.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.

Beverage & Operational Support

• Support coffee preparation and beverage service during busy operating periods when required.
• Ensure food and beverages are served accurately and promptly.
• Monitor product presentation and service quality throughout each shift.
• Coordinate dine-in, takeaway, and delivery platform orders to ensure timely fulfilment.

Store Operations & Business Performance

• Monitor daily sales performance and support the achievement of outlet targets.
• Encourage appropriate product recommendations and promotional offerings.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and reporting of low-stock items.
• Ensure cleanliness, merchandising displays, and service stations meet company standards.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and company SOPs.
• Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional appearance standards.
• Report operational, maintenance, or safety issues promptly.
• Support internal audits and continuous operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a café, coffee house, or full-service asian restaurant.

• Previous supervisory or shift leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Positive attitude with strong initiative.
• Hands-on and willing to lead by example.
• Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
