A floor technician's responsibilities include tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets and operating machines for tasks like stripping, waxing, and buffing floors.

A floor technician performs daily tasks like dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors to remove dirt and debris. Must be able to operate equipment like scrubbers and buffers to strip old coatings of wax and apply new wax, buff floors, and burnish floors to restore their appearance and durability. A floor tech cleans carpets using shampooing, extraction, and bonneting to remove stains and refresh the carpet. Floor techs must follow safety procedures like, handling chemicals and equipment responsibly, and may perform minor repairs. At times they may be involved in special projects like post-construction clean up or window washing.

Pay - $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Must have 1 year experience in floor work
