Floor Technician
Summary
Performs commercial floor maintenance and cleaning in buildings, operating specialized equipment and following safety protocols across multiple sites.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (5pm - 1am)
Weekends when necessary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed.
- Clean commercial buildings, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash.
- Travel to various GDI locations to complete floor care and specialty cleaning projects.
- Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, carpet machines, pressure washers, and wet/dry vacuums.
- Follow safety procedures and properly place safety barricades in work areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year of floor-care experience preferred.
- Commercial cleaning or flooring experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle to various job sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Steel-toed shoes required when applicable.
- Ability to work in hot conditions and perform physical labor.
