FLORAL DESIGNER
POSITION SUMMARY
The Floral Designer is responsible for creating elegant, customized floral arrangements and installations for weddings and bridal events in accordance with the event's recipe and guidelines. This role combines creativity, technical floral design skills, and industry knowledge to deliver high-quality, memorable designs that reflect client vision and the company’s brand standards. The Floral Designer works closely with the sales, event designers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely preparation, flawless execution, and client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and create bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, ceremony arrangements, centerpieces, and large-scale floral installations.
• Collaborate with sales, event planners, and clients to interpret design concepts and bring wedding visions to life.
• Condition and prepare fresh flowers to ensure quality and longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of floral varieties, seasonal availability, and color palettes.
• Build and style mock-ups or samples for client presentations when required.
• Assist with communication and transition for on-site floral installations, delivery, and event setup/teardown as needed.
• Manage floral inventory for bridal projects, ensuring proper care, handling, and storage.
• Stay up to date with bridal and floral design trends to incorporate fresh, creative ideas.
• Adhere to timelines and production schedules to meet event deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in floral handling and workspace organization.
