Estilo & Co Events is a Singapore-based event styling and design company specialising in creative, detail-driven experiences for corporate events, weddings, private celebrations, brand activations and special occasions.

Our work extends beyond floral design to complete event styling — from tablescapes and venue décor to backdrops, installations, props and bespoke decorative details. We are looking for a creative and hands-on Florist / Event Stylist to join our growing team.

The Role

As a Florist / Event Stylist, you will work closely with our creative and event team to execute floral designs and styling concepts across a wide variety of events.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has a strong eye for aesthetics, understands floral design and enjoys the practical side of transforming a venue — from preparing arrangements in the studio to styling, installing and perfecting every detail on site.

Key Responsibilities

Floral Design

• Design and create fresh, preserved and dried floral arrangements including centrepieces, bouquets, bud vase arrangements, floral installations and venue décor.
• Interpret event concepts, mood boards and colour palettes into appropriate floral designs.
• Select and source suitable flowers, foliage and floral materials based on the design brief and allocated budget.
• Prepare, condition and care for flowers to ensure freshness and longevity.
• Assist with estimating floral quantities and minimising wastage.
• Prepare floral arrangements and components efficiently ahead of event installations.

Event Styling

• Assist with the styling and execution of weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, brand activations and other special events.
• Style tablescapes, welcome areas, stages, bars, lounges, dessert tables, backdrops, display areas and other event spaces.
• Work with decorative elements including candles, vases, props, linens, signage, furniture and styling accessories.
• Follow creative briefs, floor plans, reference images and styling directions while maintaining Estilo & Co's design standards.
• Assist with the preparation, packing and organisation of styling inventory before and after events.
• Ensure all styling elements are positioned, presented and finished to a high standard.

Event Installation & On-Site Execution

• Assist with event set-up, installation and dismantling at venues across Singapore.
• Work efficiently with the wider event crew to meet installation timelines.
• Make practical styling adjustments on site when required.
• Conduct final checks and finishing touches before client or guest arrival.
• Handle flowers, props, décor and styling inventory carefully during transportation, installation and dismantling.

Requirements

• Previous experience in floral design, event styling, visual merchandising, wedding styling or a related creative field is preferred.
• Good knowledge of floral arrangement techniques, colour, texture, proportion and composition.
• Strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to interpret mood boards and translate concepts into physical styling.
• Practical, resourceful and comfortable working with your hands.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment and manage tight installation timelines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organised and willing to assist across different aspects of event preparation and styling.
• Physically comfortable with the hands-on nature of event work, including standing for extended periods and handling event décor and equipment.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, depending on event schedules.
• A portfolio of previous floral, styling, visual merchandising or event work is highly desirable.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative but practical, detail-oriented and genuinely hands-on. You should enjoy seeing a concept develop from a mood board into a finished event and be willing to contribute wherever needed to achieve the final look.

This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys both floristry and broader event styling, rather than working exclusively with flowers.
