Flower Shop Manager
The Flower Shop at Cedar Memorial Park is seeking an experienced and motivated Flower Shop Manager to lead the daily operations and overall success of our retail floral business. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional & compassionate customer experience, leading a high-performing team, managing inventory and merchandising, and driving financial performance. While knowledge of floral operations is helpful, this role is primarily focused on business management, leadership, and operational excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Ensure outstanding customer service through customer interaction, timely order fulfillment, quality products, and effective problem resolution.
- Support floral production during peak periods and ensure completed arrangements meet Cedar Memorial’s quality standards.
Team Leadership
- Hire, coach, develop, and schedule Associates while fostering a positive, customer-focused work environment.
- Partner with the Assistant Manager to ensure efficient daily operations and achievement of departmental goals.
Business & Financial Management
- Lead the overall performance of the flower shop by managing budgets, sales, profitability, inventory, purchasing, merchandising, and daily operations.
- Develop and maintain operational processes that promote efficiency, inventory accuracy, effective merchandising, and an exceptional customer experience.
