Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Solid experience with Flutter and Dart, building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps.
Hands-on software development experience, including building and shipping production apps.
Knows the mobile app lifecycle and how to release to the App Store and Google Play.
Comfortable with Git and team workflows such as branching, merge requests, and code review.
Must Have
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and how to use it in Dart and Flutter projects.
Follows Flutter and Dart best practices, writing code that is clean, readable, testable, and easy to maintain.
Can explain the SOLID principles and show how each one applies in a real Flutter codebase.
Understands Flutter's core concepts well enough to explain them clearly:
What a Widget is, and how StatelessWidget differs from StatefulWidget
What BuildContext is and how it relates to the widget tree
Hands-on experience with BLoC / Cubit for state management, keeping business logic and state apart from the UI.
Nice to Have
Can explain InheritedWidget, how data moves down the widget tree, and how packages like Provider and flutter_bloc build on it.
Knows common design patterns (such as Repository, Factory, Singleton, Observer, Strategy, and Adapter) and can explain how they support OOP and clean architecture in Flutter.
Can design reusable, composable widgets with clear APIs that avoid duplicated code and keep the UI consistent across the app. The widgets should also be flexible enough to handle fast-changing business needs, such as new campaigns, layouts, or feature changes, with little rework.
