Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on ensuring that the following activities are conducted in an efficient and well-documented way, that is, working according to the latest version of the test strategy. The initiative focuses on delivering fraud monitoring and alerting across multiple channels, including card transactions and payment flows. The solution combines vendor‑provided platforms with in‑house integrations designed to support investigators in identifying, analyzing, and preventing fraudulent activities.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Test automation, test planning, and test analysis and design to ensure structured and efficient validation of system functionality
- The role also covers test data preparation and test execution across different testing layers
- Performing manual testing when needed to complement automated coverage
Expected competences and knowledge
- Java testing — strong proficiency in Java and testing frameworks within the Java ecosystem
- Java ecosystem knowledge — experience working with relational databases and Linux-based environments
- UI and backend test automation — ability to design, implement, and maintain automated tests across both frontend and backend layers
- Manual testing support — readiness to perform manual testing when needed to ensure full coverage
- Quality assurance for release train — responsibility for executing tests and maintaining high quality standards throughout the release cycle
- Test planning
Nice-to-have knowledge and experience
- Robot Framework or Playwright experience
- GitHub Copilot experience will be significant plus
- Knowledge of Payments, Cards or Fraud testing and its test automation familiarity
