Food and Beverage Manager - Charter Steakhouse
Charter Steakhouse is seeking a hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to lead from the floor and shape the guest experience in real time. Partnering closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, you’ll oversee restaurant, bar, and banquet operations with a focus on elevated service, strong culture, and consistent execution. Duties Include:
Shift Leadership & Guest Experience
- Lead restaurant and banquet shifts as Manager on Duty, maintaining strong floor presence during peak service
- Ensure exceptional guest experience through reservations, table flow, and prompt resolution of issues
- Partner with culinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality service execution
Team Leadership & Staffing
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing team development
- Lead pre-shift meetings and daily communication to drive alignment and performance
- Coach and hold team members accountable to service and performance standards
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist with payroll, labor management, and daily sales tracking (comps, voids, discounts)
- Support inventory, purchasing, vendor management, and beverage program execution
- Ensure POS accuracy, cash handling, and support for events and programming
Standards & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and company service standards
- Support marketing initiatives and ensure accurate operational recordkeeping

Pay Range: $62,000 - $65,000 DOE with bonus potential for events
Schedule: Afternoons and evenings, Wednesday - Sunday.

Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a hands-on Food & Beverage leader who knows how to motivate a team, deliver exceptional guest service, and keep the operation running smoothly. The ideal candidate is legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis, without a specific end date. They have at least three years of supervisory or management experience in a table-service restaurant or equivalent education and experience, along with strong beverage knowledge, financial and labor-management skills, and experience with POS systems (Toast preferred). ServSafe and TIPS certification (or equivalent) and a minimum age of 21 are required. Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional mornings is essential.
