The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a part-time Food and Beverage Procurement Clerk to join our team in support of our operations to ensure the best service to our members and guests.
This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
- Check off all items and complete required paperwork to receive them in the system.
- Put items away once received.
- Prepare orders for other departments.
- Put requisitions in the system.
- Help with inventory at the end of each month.
- Provide backup for Manager.
- Weekly cleaning of the storeroom and other areas.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Driver’s license
- Inventory Software experience preferred
- General computer skills required
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to accurately perform calculations, reconcile transactions, and interpret financial and operational data required
Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position:
- Frequent exposure to extreme heat or cold on loading dock
- Frequently work in wet and/or humid conditions on loading dock.
- Must possess close visual acuity to accurately review documents, analyze numerical data, and inspect products for quality and accuracy upon receipt. The position requires prolonged periods of reading, reviewing detailed information, and identifying discrepancies in reports, invoices, and inventory.
- Repetitive Lifting and Movement of Food and Beverage Items that are delivered to the Loading Dock and also getting orders together for different outlets.
- Ability to work independently and with a team to unload Flatbed Trucks which can range in weight of 500-1,500 pounds.
- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than __150__ pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to __50_ pounds
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Able to push a loaded flatbed that could weigh up to 1,500 pounds. Able to drive/may need to drive company vehicle/golf carts
