Food & Beverage Attendant
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Deliver warm, attentive, and personalised guest service, anticipating guest needs and building genuine rapport.
- Prepare and present a full range of espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages to a consistently high, luxury five-star standard.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of coffee origins, roast profiles, brewing methods, and menu offerings to confidently guide guest choices.
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are proactive, luxury and engaging
- Perform the tasks of order taking and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of products. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests
- Be familiar & confident with our Food & Beverage offering.
- Proactively create memorable moments for guests using elevated emotional intelligence
- Provide quality barista service and occasional support behind our bar
- Plan, prepare, and hand over effectively to next shift
- Replenish all consumables at the end of your shift
- Provide manager with feedback from customers and from staff
- Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfil their duties effectively.
- Accurately process orders and transactions using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and payments with integrity.
- Deliver orders promptly to the kitchen production area.
- Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance, ensure items are announced.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
- Deliver room service orders and amenities.
- Ensure room service trays and trolleys are set-up correctly and collected promptly when guest(s) have finished.
- Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support colleagues across the F&B department.
- Respond to guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns appropriately to ensure swift resolution.
- Champion sustainability initiatives, including responsible sourcing and reduction of single-use waste, in line with Accor's commitments.

- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- Felxibility required on a 7-day roster
- Minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel, fine-dining establishment.
- Barista or specialty coffee highly regarded.
- Genuine passion for hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional, and polished manner.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation and consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A relevant Barista certification or equivalent training is desirable but not essential.
- Current New Zealand work rights, or eligibility to obtain the appropriate visa, required.

Guaranteed 30 hours per week. Starting at $29.10 - $30.79/hour
