As Food & Beverage Captain, you will lead by example—ensuring each guest feels cared for, every meal exceeds expectation, and every moment reflects the warmth and sophistication that define The Loren brand. This is a hands-on leadership role for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. You’ll support daily restaurant operations, guide the service team, and uphold the highest standards of quality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and support restaurant staff to deliver seamless and elevated service.
- Take guest orders, anticipate needs, and ensure prompt, polished service at all times.
- Oversee restaurant setup, breakdown, and cleanliness, maintaining all service standards.
- Collaborate closely with culinary and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and timing.
- Step in for the Restaurant Manager when required, managing shifts and delegating tasks.
- Train and mentor new hires, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Conduct stock checks, receive vendor orders, and assist with departmental inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and service standards.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lead Waiter, or 1 year as Food & Beverage Captain in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as MICROS and self-cashiering.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English.
- Certifications in Hospitality, Customer Service, or Tourism are an asset.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing duties that may involve lifting or extended periods of standing.
