Food & Beverage Manager

Celebration Cinema Grand Rapids South is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic full-time Food & Beverage Manager who loves creating memorable guest experiences and running a strong, well-organized operation. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on great food and drinks with great leadership while having some fun along the way.

What You’ll Do:

Food & Beverage Operations

Lead day-to-day food and beverage operations with a focus on guest experience, quality, and consistency.

Order, monitor, and control food and beverage inventory while managing food costs.

Accept and audit deliveries; maintain proper storage, organization, and product rotation.

Maintain clean, organized concession, bar, and kitchen areas and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

Ensure consistent recipe execution, portion control, food safety, and alcohol awareness.

Handle end of the month inventory.

Train line cooks on recipes, preparation, procedures, and service standards.

Coach team members in the moment and provide support as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Work alongside the team during busy periods and step into kitchen, concession, or bar responsibilities as needed.

Theatre Operations

Serve as Theatre Manager-in-Charge as needed or support the management team on shift.

Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming theatre experience for every guest.

Support daily theatre operations including public showings and private events.

Enforce cash-handling policies and procedures.

Leadership & Team Development

Train, coach, and lead team members to deliver Celebrated Service.

Delegate responsibilities and guide team members to meet daily operational needs.

Provide regular feedback, performance coaching, and motivation.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team environment.

Uphold all safety, sanitation, security, and compliance standards.

Participate in hiring and onboarding as needed.

What You Bring

21 years of age or older.

1–2 years of restaurant and/or theatre management experience preferred.

Strong food service and kitchen experience.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

TIPS Certification preferred.

ServSafe Food and Allergen Certification preferred.

Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.

A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain mobile and on your feet for the entire shift.

Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members.
