Food Runner - Artisan at the Marriott Greenville

Job Purpose

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our dynamic team in Artisan at the Marriott Greenville. As a food runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring excellent customer service and contributing to an exceptional dining experience

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver Food to Tables: Promptly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Verify Orders: Ensure accuracy of orders before delivering them, including checking plating, modifiers, and special requests.
• Communicate with Kitchen and Servers: Relay important information between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, such as order status or special instructions.
• Assist Servers: Support servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking on guest needs when appropriate.
• Maintain Presentation Standards: Ensure that food is presented attractively and that any necessary garnishes or accompaniments are included.
• Stock and Restock Stations: Keep service stations stocked with essentials such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and glassware.

Experience/Education

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
