NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking a dependable and caring Full-Time Dietary Aide (Food & Nutrition Services Aide) to join our team!

This position offers a full-time schedule with rotating shifts between 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Candidates must be available to work both shifts as scheduled.

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment, and support our team in delivering quality nutritional care to our patients and residents.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary instructions.

• Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.

• Assist with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.

• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.

• Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.

• Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.

• Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.

• Assist the Food & Nutrition Services team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Must be available to work both the 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. shifts as scheduled.

• Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
