General Description
Food Service Attendants provide excellent customer service by providing on time meal service, monitoring product inventories, kitchen cleanliness, and other program requirements for infant to 3yr students.
Knowledge / skill requirements
High School Diploma/GED required Knowledge of food service and sanitation; or willing to acquire said knowledge Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs Must be a team player Capable of following written and verbal instructions Must have a passion for working with children Able to work in a fast paced environment Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time Must pass a Federal Background Check

Responsibilities:

- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Organize and count inventory
Prep and set up for food service
- May include chopping, slicing, and dicing of food items.
Serving food in accordance with strict serving sizes.
Complete cleaning tasks based on daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule
- Daily tasks include:
  - Wiping walls by the tilt skillets
  - Clean sink & backsplash
  - Sweep and mop (when applicable) kitchen and common area floors (Main Office, Conference Room, etc.)
  - Wipe down ovens
  - Check bathrooms and restock as needed
  - Ensure all trash cans are emptied and bags replaced.
  - Clean and sanitize dishes between meal service
