Holy Family Catholic Schools Food Service is seeking a Food Service Resource position to join our Wahlert team! This is a 9-month, full time position with 7.5 hours a day. The position has part time hours on non school days and over the summer.

Food Service Resource is responsible for food preparation and specially assigned operations at the school site and for the school system with an overall goal of providing an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction. This position will also be responsible for the following:

• Transport food to sites, and store delivered food and supply items appropriately and timely.
• Prepare menu items according to recipes.
• Help determine the quantities of each food to be prepared and quantity served daily to meet the necessary requirements with regard to ages of those served.
• Help monitor daily cleaning of food service area, cafeteria, all kitchen equipment, washing and sterilizing of all dishes, silverware, and utensils for use/non-use of the facility as requested by the supervisor.
• Maintain daily production records in regard to amount of food prepared, served and left over.
• Assist in setting up serving line, replenishing and service or working on the line.
• Open and close kitchen as needed, in absence of the manager.
• Work with supervisor on production problems and determining solutions.
• Additional duties as assigned
